A MoPA Membership is designed to make it more viable for you to visit more often. With Memberships priced at less than 5 casual visits, you can be sure that even if you’re only able to visit a handful of times you’ll still find great value.

Membership FAQs
CAN I “GIFT” A MEMBERSHIP?
Yes. In fact many of our Memberships are gifted to lucky recipients! Our website will trigger a ‘welcome email’ when you purchase the membership that you plan to gift, so please remember that if you’d like the gift to be a big surprise you should use your own email address when you buy the membership for someone else, and then we can change it (the email address) over to your recipients email later – It’s really a very easy process managed by our Guest Services Team who are available 7-days a week on 1800 00 66 72.
HOW MANY TIMES CAN A MEMBER VISIT?
There is no limit to how many times a Member can visit the Museum, we only ask that members attend just once per day – in fairness to other guests that may wish to attend on the same day as you! Some members attend weekly, others every other month. Whether you attend 50+ or just 5 times in the year, a Membership represents exceptional value.
HOW IS A MEMBERSHIP PRICED?
To ensure that about anyone can get great value from their Membership, the packages are priced at less than 5 casual visits in a peak period. Most Members visit 10-12 times per year, but you needn’t visit more than a handful of times to unlock the economic benefits of being a Member.
CAN I SHARE A MEMBERSHIP?
No. It is not viable for MoPA to offer any kind of shared Memberships. Instead, the packages are priced very competitively, so that anyone with a membership only needs to visit a handful of times to get great value. Some members find that if a child is attending MoPA often, but their carer may be different on different days, it works better for the child to have a Membership but for the adults to purchase casual tickets each time. When the booking system identifies any sharing of membership details it will apply a non-refundable cancellation to that membership.
IS THERE A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP?
No there isn’t. Families come in all shapes and sizes and so individual Membership packages are offered that allow you to purchase Memberships for only those in your family that will find the value; be that a child, a single parent, a grandparent, a regular carer, and so on.
HOW DO I BOOK USING MY MEMBERSHIP?
As we have ‘comfy capacity’ limits set in place for all our sessions, we request that all our Members book their visit online before arrival. This ensures you have a spot saved when you arrive at the door and don’t miss out due to private functions, excursions or sold-out sessions! When you book, simply pop your Membership number/s in at the payment screen and the Free Play ticket price for Members will be reduced to $0.

To help visualise and celebrate the diversity of our gorgeous MoPA community we’re inviting guests to decorate their own character and we’ll add your art to our community collage in the museums. Starts Monday!
BE INSPIRED... BY NATURE!
As the Autumn breezes blow in, and the bugs fill the garden, we’re reminded that nature truly is one of the greatest sources of creative inspiration. MoPA’s educators have been digging in the dirt (not even joking)... and, inspired by all the furry, wriggly, winged things they found, they’ve designed some gorgeous new activities that celebrate nature.
“THE ART OF NATURE” runs from March 3 to May 31. All the activities and art supplies are included with your ticket.

Working with people and organisations that are values-aligned has always been such an important aspect of the work we do at MoPA. Our guests, our team, our partners, they’re all hugely passionate about play and creativity.
And when the team at @tonies_anz chose to celebrate their Australian launch at MoPA, and arranged for @emmamemmamemma to drop in for a dance party, we were absolutely THRILLED.

Q: Is it a real car?
A: Yes, and each has a special place in our ♥️
Q: Do you ever clean it?
A: Yes, but the timing is a hot debate. 🧽 There is so much beauty in the layers, but also purity and timeless charm in its bare form.
Q: How do you choose the colours?
A: Have you ever stirred up a slurpy? 🥤 If we’re not careful, it ends up brown; our team have become experts in avoiding that! 😆
Q: Why? Just why?
A: All our exhibits are thoughtfully crafted to support early learning and creativity. Our world is full of boundaries and conformity (in most cases, for good reason!). The MoPA Art Car exhibit 🚗 is designed to give children an opportunity to do something that doesn’t “feel” within the confines impressed upon us; to help them see, experience first-hand, and learn, that creativity can so often be found in media and forms we never imagined would combine.
