Part Time Art Teacher
Deliver our amazing 8-week Art Programs. Working independently in a classroom environment, with support (offsite) from MoPA's Class Leader, you will build incredible rapport with your student cohort and nurture their creativity, confidence and connection through the power of art and play.

Please note: MoPA’s Art Classes operate from 4.00pm until 5.30pm; meaning that you will be required to work weekdays, from 3pm until 6.30pm, allowing for setup and pack down before and after class. For term 1, classes will run from the first week of February until the last week of March – and depending on class enrolments, you may be required to work these hours from 2 to 5 days each week (Monday to Friday). A similar commitment is required for Term 2, 3 and 4. Students thrive off the connections and bonds they develop with the teaching fraternity, and we’re passionate about enabling this by ensuring the same teaching staff teach the classes. Role description:
MoPA is famous for all the magical experiences we deliver. If you are successful in your application to join our teaching team, you will work with our amazing lead educator to learn the Term 1 curriculum and deliver it to a cohort of up to 12 students aged from 4 to 12 years old.
Our art classes are all about creativity, but they are also about building meaningful relationships among the student cohort, and nurturing the students confidence and wellbeing. And so to be successful in this role, you will have had good experience managing dynamic classrooms before, and thrive off the busy and creative energy of ART CLASSES.

Term 1 enrolments commence early in January 2025. At least 2 classes will then be made available, on MON and TUE afternoons, with more classes made available once those two afternoons are sold out
- The curriculum, class structure, and all the supplies will all be provided, but only YOU can bring the heart. Student engagement and learning will be so heavily influenced by what you bring to their class, as their teacher – and only YOU can provide this.
- You will be required to manage the classes from end to end. You will ensure everything is setup for your students, ready to go for their arrival, then you will deliver the class in full providing supervision and engagement throughout, and then once you’ve said goodbye and shared the learning experience with each of the parents picking up, you will pack everything down again and perform an impeccable clean for the next team who use the art room the next day.

Our delightful crew of Cafe Team Members are responsible for ensuring that our cafe is the cleanest, yummiest haven for nutrients that our guests could ever ask for. Role description:
We are looking for talented, efficient, passionate full-on foodies to pop into the Museum each morning and prep the Geelong Museum’s cafe for a successful day of food trade. On any given day, this may include managing stock levels, placing orders, overseeing the sourcing and receipt of top quality ingredients from a network of local providers, and then most importantly – all the preparation of the food that MoPA will serve through both the cafe and to our gorgeous party guests, supporting our very busy party schedule.
Core Responsibilities:
MoPA’s cafe provides a relatively simple but very carefully considered food service to guests of the Museum. As a member of the team overseeing this food operation, you will likely be the first person into work each morning, evaluating the Museums food requirements for the next few days, and ensuring the appropriate goods and ingredients are available, preparing those ingredients to make snacks, meals, platters, etc that meet the requirements of the day’s trade, maintaining the exceptional quality standards we’re famous for at MoPA, and iterating the menu to try new things and build on the success of this gorgeous little cafe.
